How do I create an account?

It's easy and takes and takes a few minutes.  To get started, click here, or register for an account during the checkout process- simply provide an email address, billing and shipping information, then follow the prompls. 

Please note:  your password should be at least eight characters long and should contain one number.  For example: thegoodstuff1234

I lost my password, what do I do?

If you have forgotten your password, or if you receive an error message stating that your password isn't recognized, just click Forgot Your Password?, enter the email address used to register online and we will send you a new, temporary password.

 

Once you have logged in using your temporary password, we recommend you change it immediately.  Log into the member section, and Edit your profile.  Remember passwords should be at least 8 characters long with at least one number. (e.g. thegoodstuff1234)

If you have ordered from us before, but not through our website, you will need to set an online account.  It take a few minutes and allows you to view the status of your orders, manage your membership, if you have one, and rate the wines that you have received.

When will my credit card be charged?

Retail:  When you place an order on Barrel87.com, your card will be charged immediately. 

Club Membership:  Your card will be charged the first of each month.  If the first falls on a weekend or Holiday, it will be charge within the week.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as you place an order. Once your credit card authorization amount has cleared, your product will be sent to processing for shipping.

Can I change my order?

You may change your order as long as it has not been processed for shipping.  Once it has been processed, there is a 15% restocking fee.

What steps do you take to protect my personal information?

We use SSL – Secure Socket Layers – software, which is the safest way to send information over the Internet. Additionally, your credit card information is encrypted and only the last four digits are displayed in the order confirmation.

I lost my password. What do I do?

Can I cancel my order?

An order may only be canceled before we begin preparing it for shipment. Please call us at 816.268.1474 or email us at orders@barrel87 with CANCEL MY ORDER ASAP in subject as soon as possible so we can help you with your request.

How long is the processing time on my order?

It is our priority and #1 goal to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible. Most orders will be processed within 24-48 hours of being placed. There are several factors that contribute to when you will receive your order once it has been placed.

The timing in which your order is processed is determined by the accuracy of the information provided on the order, when the order is placed, order volume, and stock availability.

It is imperative that all information included on the order is complete and accurate. Incomplete or inaccurate billing or shipping information on orders could result in a delay in processing and may incur additional shipping charges.

Since wine is vulnerable to extremes in temperature, and we have no control over the conditions of a carrier's warehousing facility, the day in which your order is processed may affect when you receive it. Orders placed in the later part of the week may be held until the beginning of the following week.

If your order includes an item that is temporarily out-of-stock, but due to arrive within a few days, it will be delayed in an effort to ship the complete order. In that event we will attempt to notify you by e-mail of the delay.

WINES MAY BE SOLD AND DELIVERED ONLY TO A PERSON WHO IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD. IN PLACING YOUR ORDER, YOU REPRESENT TO US THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND THE PERSON TO WHOM THE WINE WILL BE DELIVERED TO IS ALSO 21 YEARS OLD. At the time of delivery, all shipments containing alcohol require the signature of an adult who must show identification proving he or she is at least 21 years old.

Shipping to a BUSINESS ADDRESS is strongly recommended, since an adult signature is required at time of delivery.

We accept online orders for wine shipping to most states, however, due to changing direct-shipping laws and regulations, the list of states that we ship to may change at any time. We will contact you by email if your order is negatively affected by new shipping regulations. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order. Barrel 87 takes reasonable precautions to ensure safe, temporary storage/staging of purchased goods as, from time to time, requested by our customers. Barrel 87 assumes no liability whatsoever for any loss, deterioration or damage to the goods stored or staged, caused by conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, wars, insurrections, natural disasters or the reckless, negligent or intentional acts of third parties.

How much will I pay to ship my order?

We have convienent flat-rate shipping charges. Shipping costs $9.95 for up to 3 bottles, $14.95 for 4-6 bottles and $19.95 for 7-24 bottles.

How can I track my order?

When your order has been processed we will send you an email to allow you to track your order online with our carrier.

If you have any concerns over the status of your order please call our Customer Service Team at 816.268.1474 who will be more than happy to check the status of your order on your behalf.

What if I can't be home during business hours to receive my shipment?

Since the signature of an adult 21 or older is required by law to receive a wine package, many of our customers have their wine shipments sent to their workplace. If you want to change your shipping address after your order is placed, please call us at 816.268.1474 so that we can assist you with those changes.

Does weather affect my shipment?

Extreme weather conditions can affect your wine. High temperatures may cause your wine to leak or extreme cold can freeze your wine during shipment. Please keep in mind that the Barrel 87 is not responsible for, and will not replace, wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions. By placing an online order you are accepting the responsibility for that shipment through whatever weather conditions may occur during that shipment. If you live in an area where the current ambient temperature is near freezing in Winter or above 75 degrees in Summer. In some cases, we will contact you if we are aware of extreme weather conditions in your area.

If you are experiencing extreme temperatures now but would still like to order wines, you can do so and choose to delay shipment until the weather breaks. Please just let us know by writing us a note in the "ORDER NOTES" box during the Checkout process.
